Studying the Bible in context is the goal of Biblical Backgrounds.
Innovative 3-D maps, period
charts and
text provide easy entry into the world and land of the Bible. These

seminars and home schooling. Context
is the key - Context is the world of the Bible, its geography, politics
and economics. It is the hills, valleys, mountain passes and cities.
It is political intrigue, alliances, desire for shipping lanes, and
fear of the superpowers. It is culture, climate and crops, and many
of the same concerns we have today. Reading the Bible 'in context' is
the first step in understanding the original intention of the writer. Context
comes alive - The land of the Bible is the 'playing board of biblical
history.' Much of the Bible's most compelling teaching is embedded in
events played out on this board. Biblical Backgrounds' 3-D maps, graphic
full color presentations and innovative study methods bring this context
to life. It soon becomes one of the Bible's best commentaries. Context
is our goal - For decades members of Biblical Backgrounds'
staff have lived and taught in Jerusalem and in the Middle East.
They have
seen the impact this study makes upon the thousands of visiting students
