What’s new at Biblical Backgrounds?
Regional Study Map 1: Middle East
August 2011 saw a new releae of Regional Study Map 1 (version 2). This map is now twice the size and covers the Middle East from Rome to Persia. New place-names on the main map and eight smaller period maps (from -1570 to +325) help the user trace history across two millennia, including the study of the book of Acts and the background of Greco-Roman history.
Watch for two new full color map—
Biblical Backgrounds is completing two full color map (both 22” x 25.5”):

1)Land Between—Relief, Elevations and Traffic Patterns is similar to the map on the front of Regions on the Run.

2)Land Between—Relief, Rocks and Soils is similar to the map on pp. 12-13 of Geobasics in the Land of the Bible.
Historical headlines appear beside each of the period maps, which summarize main points in the period. A new Regional Study Guide, version 5.0 offers a succinct discussion on these eight historical periods.
The size (22” x 25.5”) is large enough to hang, frame or just hold in your hands.
