This
Israelite Monarchies chart details 500 years of events in the books
of Kings and Chronicles. Kings, dates,
events and prophets are set within the larger context of Egypt to the south
and the imperial armies of Assyria and
Babylon which enter the land from the north. Biblical 'headlines' line up with
small red boxes which represent conflicts
between Israel and Judah and wars with outside powers.
The
graphic flow of the chart provides a visual impression that encourages
the student to read biblical history against the larger
world
of the
Bible.
