EXAMPLE B: ISRAELITE MONARCHIES--500 YEAR OVERVIEW (page 38 in the book Regions on the Run) This 500 chart expands the chronology of the Israelite monarchies found in the middle of the 4000 Year Overview chart. The change from brown to blue represents the same change from 'Age of Nations' to 'Age of Empires' as seen on the 4000 Year Overview chart. The chart presents and discusses low and high periods in the Israelite monarchies along with the main kings of Israel (orange) and Judah (green). Biblical references and the prophets of the north and south appear below. A future electronic presentation will link this chart to the 4000 Year Overview, to maps and to selected biblical texts.
